I recently accepted a duo start challenge, on 7-day time limit, and my opponent has moved steadily in one game, but ignored the other to the point where, yesterday, he had only 15 hours left to move before losing on time. He then moved in both of the games, and now when I hover over the indicator on my status page it says "Play the game, opponent has 7 days to move" IN EACH GAME!!??? How can that possibly be?
Game no. 721198

Thank you! That was really a rude awakening for me; I had always thought that the tournament time control method was universal; apparently not, but I would be reluctant in the future to accept any casual challenges based on 7-day limit.

The only indication of a difference is when setting up a casual game there is a block to choose "days per move", but I don't believe it is clearly defined anywhere else. Confused

Hello,
I am currently playing in a BG tourney here at your site.
Currently in a semi or final where opp is online and and will move in 1 of 4 actually five games. Waiting until time is almost completely depleted.

Is this not a form of "Cheating" Manipulation? and are there any rules to help prevent or deter this practice.

Thank you in advance for your time.
