I recently lost several team games because I couldn't pick up new cards after I'd used the three in my hand to build bridges. I'd click on them, try to drag them, everything I could think of, but nothing worked. Can someone help me? (I'm hoping it's not just a problem with my computer)

I do not completely understand, but if you played your three cards your turn ends and you cannot pick up more cards?
