Hello!
My opponent got by with and used the word "ammo", which the collins and free dictionaries define as short for ammunition.
Doesn't short mean the same as slang? If not, I'd love to know the difference in those definitions as pertaining to words used in this game Wink
If ammo is OK, then why not "zoo", being short for zoological?
Thank you, as always.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/ammo. Informal is not allowed either.
Therefore ammo has been removed.

my opponent placed 'decaf'

Informal language is not allowed either. http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/decaf?showCookiePolicy=true and http://www.thefreedictionary.com/decaf
Therefore it has been removed.

My opponent used the word "deathsmen". I can locate "deathsman" but not the plural. Is that still OK? Thank you!

Hi Marianne,
Why has my opponent been allowed the Mathematical abbreviation Cotan in game 1447289 ? I have only found it as an abbreviation of cotangent. Apologies if there is another meaning that I cannot find. If I am correct, can you delete my opponents turn, and make them play a valid word ? Thank you

Request for removing or meaning of a word, please use the other topic. http://forum.yourturnmyturn.com/viewtopic.php?t=212
