I have lost 3 tournaments in the last month due to the time not resetting to 6 days when it is my turn.

I will take my turn, and 2 days later, come back and find that I have lost the tournament due to time-out...

This has happened for more than 3 tournaments, but for the 3 I am referring to, I was in the finals.

I am very disappointed that this reflects on my performance, as I was poised to win in at least 2 of those.

Has anyone else experienced this?

The maximum time to move is set to 6 days (holidays do apply). But those 6 days are a maximum buffer. For every move you get 1 day added to your buffer time (instead of 6). So you do not have 6 days per move, but 1 day and a buffer of maximum 6 days.

I'm still confused to how the move/buffer rules work in practice.

Each day a move are 6 days remaining.
Each day you do not move will be reduced from the 6 days.
So Monday a move = 6 days
Tuesday no move = 5 days left.
Wednesday no move is 4 days left.
Thursday a move = 4 days left.
Friday a move = 4 days left.
Friday an other move = 5 days left. Friday again one move = 6 days left.
Etc. etc.
