Rules for a draw:
When 50 moves by each player are made and no piece was captured *
You can claim a draw by sending the admin a private message. Note your opponent, your game number and explain which move you are planning to make, which will create a draw. The admin will check your claim and when it is valid, approve a draw. Do not make the move already!
So check for yourself if this is the situation in your game. _________________ Good luck and have fun |

yeah I know the rule... but I was just saying it is a stupid rule because sometimes you need more than 50 moves to win. |

there has to be a border somewhere...
what if we set the border at 100 moves, and someone sees the ability to win one move later? Besides that there will be complaints from a lot of players when their opponent won't accept a draw when it clearly is one. |

If this was actually the rule in force, it wouldn't be so bad. But when I was playing Tablut here, it was 50 moves by both players, i.e. 25 moves each (see further up this thread).
This is not enough to ensure that drawn games are limited to those in which neither player could win given unlimited moves (which is the point of having the limit, IMHO). |

It cant go any further this way...
It dont take admins that much time.. there are 14 current tablut games.. and I suppose im the first ever with this claim. |
