Hello,

I was wondering if there are any rules against utilizing the 'Man in the middle' cheating technique, because I am currently playing in a tournament where a lower rated player is copying my moves as well as the moves of another high rated player in order to guarantee that they beat at least one of us.

This strikes me as unfair. This player could very easily continue to win against better players and proceed to the semi-finals in tournaments simply because they took advantage of the round robin system.

The site rules says:
Quote:
Use of computers, cheating, copying opponent, and rating misuse Copying moves of your opponent in duo-games, cross finales, and finales of tournaments or champion games is not allowed. If you do so, you will lose those board games.

Send Bram a PM, with the game number and he will look at it.
