Hi! I was wondering why the rules here refer to 6 stones instead of 7 -- as e.g. seen in the YouTube video where Irving Finkel plays against Tom Scott.

That does not matter much, we used the same numer as in the game of the Britisch Museum: https://www.yourturnmyturn.com/java/ur/index.php.

6 gives a bit of a faster game than 7.
