May I suggest an improvement to the game - after a goal, a central kick-off with re-positioned players? Currently, the ball can get stuck at one end.

You might try to leave your players positioned for the quick breakout when an opponent's score looks inevitable. Remember, a roll of 6 after a score can be a goal going the other way, if the players are positioned for it.
